ProSteel Identity

Art Direction: Kathryn & Bruce Olive (Koroberi)
Design and Production: Emily Combs (Koroberi)

This identity was created for a line of toolboxes and other hardware products sold via Lowes Hardware. The ProSteel brand needed to have bold lettering that would serve two primary goals: First, it needed to look tough and durable, like the products themselves. Second, the design had to be simple enough to be readable when it was cut out out of, or into, metal. The toolboxes were set to be released in red or black, and the colors in the logo therefore matched that palette.

The ProSteel boxes are now out of production, but you can still view some of the product listings on the Lowes website.
